Do you offer parking?
Yes, we offer two hour parking validation for all members and guests.
- Duke Energy Center: We offer two hour parking validation in The Levine Center for the Arts Garage located on the corner of West Stone Wall and South Tryon St. There are access points on West Stone Wall and Church St. Visitor parking of the Duke Energy Center and the Cultural Campus are located on levels P1 and P2.
- Trade & Tryon: We offer two hour parking validation in the Omni Hotel parking deck located on the corner of College St. and Trade St. There are access points to the garage on both College St. just after 4th street and another on Trade St. just after turning right from College St. onto Trade St.
Do you provide lockers and laundry service?
Yes, we offer complimentary day lockers for guests. We also offer private locker rentals with complimentary laundry service for all members.
What do you provide in your locker rooms?
Our full service locker rooms are equipped with complimentary amenities that will allow you to leave our facility just as fresh if not more than when you arrived. We offer towel service, body wash, shampoo and many more personal hygiene products.
How will I check in?
All member receive a scan card upon activation of their membership. Member can save their bar code onto the smartphone app KeyRing for more convenience. All guest are asked to check-in at our reception desk.
Do you have guest passes?

Do you have corporate rates/programs?
Yes. Our corporate partnerships offer a reduction in rates based on the value of the partnership. All corporate programs are customizable.
Can I have a corporate event at the club?
Contact Us to learn if you’re eligible for our corporate rate or to setup a corporate partnership for your company.
Do you have a member referral program?
Yes, all of our members are eligible for our referral program. Contact one of our Membership Experience Coordinators to learn more.
Are your Personal Trainers certified?
Yes. All Charlotte Athletic Club instructors and trainers are required to have accurate, up-to-date certifications.
Do you offer group training?
Yes. Group training is offered for two or more people.
Do I pick my own trainer?
Our Fitness Director will pair each member with the most qualified trainer based on their health history form and desired goals. All members are encouraged to view our trainer profiles as they all have different certifications and specialties. Members can choose their trainer if they like.
Is personal training included in membership?
All new members receive one complimentary personal training assessment. Once that is complete, the member can choose to invest in individual sessions or group sessions.
Are their prerequisites for personal training?
No. Now is always a great time to begin personal training.
What is Your Cancellation Policy?
We require clients to cancel at least 24 hours prior to their session without penalty. Sessions cancelled within 24 hours will be billed full session price. Cancellations must be made online through MindBody or by calling the studio. No cash refunds for any purchased Club service.
Do you rent yoga mats?
Yes, if you do not have a yoga mat or forgot to bring yours we have spare yoga mats in the yoga cubbies.
What is Your Cancellation Policy?
We require clients to cancel at least two (2) hours prior to class without penalty. Cancellations must be made online through MindBody or by calling the studio. All late cancels and no-shows will be charged $10.00 for unlimited membership packages or deducted one (1) class from class packages.
When Do You Publish Your Class Schedule?
The studio schedule is released for booking every Monday by 9 am. You may book up to two weeks in advance. When you book your class, please arrive at least 10 minutes early to sign in and get set up.
Do I have access to all the amenities at the Charlotte Athletic Club when I visit?
Yes, you can access all of the gym amenities if you have purchased a class day pass or a have a monthly membership.
Do I Need Shoes?
We are true Yogi’s and do not wear shoes in Yoga class. To utilize the other work out areas you must wear socks or gym shoes.
What should I wear to class? What should I bring?
Please bring a bottle of water, a towel and a mat if you have one. Note that the studio provides towels, rents mats and sells water. Try to wear tight-fitting exercise clothing that allows you to sweat. Come with an open mind and be prepared to have fun.
I arrived a few minutes late to class and the door was locked. Why is that?
We are so sorry. It’s our priority to honor and respect our student’s time. Therefore, we promptly begin and end class on time, and we lock the door in between classes out of respect to the students who are taking class. Please show up to class at least 5 – 15 minutes early so that we can provide a timely and enjoyable class for everyone.
Can Beginners Attend Yoga Classes? Do You Offer Help For New Students?
Yes. We have an encouraging environment where all levels and abilities can practice Yoga. Ask one of our Yoga instructors or front desk personnel for the best class to fit your needs.
My Son/Daughter Would Like to Attend Class With Me. Is This a Possibility?
The minimum age required to practice at Tryon St Yoga is 12 years of age. Students between the ages of 12 – 15 are not permitted to attend heated classes. Students ages 12 – 15 are not permitted to practice without their parent or guardian present. To attend heated classes, students must be 16 years of age. All minors (under 18) must have a parent signed waiver prior to practicing (the parent or guardian must sign the waiver in person at a studio).
