At Charlotte Athletic Club, we are committed to improving lives. In our group exercise classes, we offer a wide range of innovative, fun and challenging class options that will keep you wanting more. Check out a class at either our Trade & Tryon location or Duke Energy Center.

Trade & Tryon

 

 

CYCLE 30

Whether you are preparing for longer rides outdoors, a specific competitive event, or just want to increase your fitness level, this class is for you. This is a 30 minute ride of interval zone training that is short, sweet and sweaty!
Skill Level: All fitness levels

CYCLE 45

Whether you are preparing for longer rides outdoors, a specific competitive event, or just want to increase your fitness level, this class is for you. This is a 45 minute ride of interval zone training that is short, sweet and sweaty!

45 POLAR PERFORMANCE RIDE

A dynamic 45 minute ride that utilizes the technology of the Polar Cardio GX system to help you burn calories, condition the heart, and get results! Classes are technique based with a focus on cadence, heart-rate zones, climbs & sprints.

BIKE, BAR, BASS

Turn up the intensity, fire up your core, and increase your stamina. Speed intervals are combined with weighted sectors that will sculpt your upper body, build strength, and take your workout to the next level.

ATHLETIC FIT

Using different intervals of cardio and strength, this class will have you pushing your cardio to new limits through the use of not only weights but the use of your own body weight.
Skill Level: Intermediate

BOXING FIT

A high-intensity use of punching combinations on the heavy bag, mixed with individual & partner work on the focus mitts. But it doesn’t stop there! Strategically designed boot camp drills will push you to your limit to get you in the best shape of your life. Hand-wraps, boxing gloves are mandatory (& provided). Mouthpiece optional.

EXPRESS ABS

15 minutes is all you need to tighten your core and get you one step closer to that six-pack torso. This mini class compliments any workout.

HIIT

An interval training class that mixes calisthenics and body weight exercises with cardio and strength training. With a new workout every week, these classes are designed to push you harder than you would push yourself and to always keep your body guessing.
Skill Level: Intermediate

POWER X

Like boot camp but better! Cardio sports drills are combined with strength training exercises that will have you pushing your cardio to new limits.
Skill Level: All fitness levels

TRX

TRX is a total-body workout that activates all of your muscles at once to build strength, mobility and endurance. This workout is designed for people of all fitness levels.

Duke Energy Center

EXPLODE

Become powerful and explosive, while shredding body fat and building lean tissue. The class is focused on Olympic lifts, powerlifting, and plyometric methods.
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced

HIIT

An interval training class that mixes calisthenics and body weight exercises with cardio and strength training. With a new workout every week, these classes are designed to push you harder than you would push yourself and to always keep your body guessing.

METABOLIC CONDITIONING

This high-intensity metabolic conditioning workout challenges all 3 energy systems and acts like a fat-incinerator to ensure you get results that leave you fit and motivated.

KETTLEBELL BOOTCAMP

Incorporating the principals of high-intensity interval training, using kettlebells and body-weight exercises to get your heart rate up and your body sweating! No two classes are the same to keep your body guessing and your mind engaged.
